Introduction-post, april2023. TITLE: welcome!

hi friends!! thnx for checking out my newsletter, a new venture... this first one will be kinda experimental. I found a few sites that allow you to share newsletter-ish posts but none allowed for the format + customizing that I wanted... so I'm hosting em myself LOL

i felt like i was in a rut for a while, but looking back, i drew a lot?! and ive been doing painterly stuff i rly enjoy.. below are examples (linking to whatever SoMe theyr posted to), and a roundup of notable SoMe art-links. I could include links to all pics ive done these months but I think i'll stick to just picking out a few LOL, if you'd like me to link all images, pls lmk through tumblr ask, twitter DMs or email! i'm surprised to say im really happy with what I did these two months!!! dang, doing this lil roundup makes me realize that i did have a lot of fun, despite a feeling of stagnation...

2● Current Projects?!
I've gotten a space at a shared office, where people who share an mindset of feminist intersectionality come together to create a safe environment. I'm really excited to go there to work, since I've never had a place like that.

I'm eyeing a few anthologies that I want to submit to - One about local folklore, one is sapphic erotica - other than that, I'm prepping for two conventions and a workshop that I'll be hosting. Also, I made some comicstrips with my wife, that I'll share soon!

I am currently most active on Instagram and Tumblr, linked at the top; I've found that those sites are more fulfilling at this time, though I still post on twitter, haha. these things are tough. I hope you enjoyed reading this newsletter, writing it I've realized that it kinda feels like a short diary of sorts. A professional diary? It's nice! It made me appreciate all the work I've put in recently...
